Do you know why you should never smoke around your children? According to a US research, this is why.


According to a United States research, adults who do not smoke but grew up with parents who smoked have a higher risk of dying from lethal lung disease.

According to the research, more than hundred thousand non-smoking adults have died almost every year because they lived with parents or individuals who smoke a lot during their childhood.

American cancer society led study of seventy thousand, nine hundred men and women who don't smoke.
Several prominent experts have come out to say that, staying away completely from smoking is the most excellent way to protect your children from adulthood lung disease.
Adults who were exposed to smoke for at least 11 hours almost every week, when they were young  are very likely to die from stroke, heart disease and chronic obstructive lung disease.

The journal in which the study was published is known as the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
The participants talked about their exposure to smoking since childhood. Their health was tracked for about twenty two years.

According to Hazel Cheeseman who is  from a campaign group known as Action on smoking and health, thinks quitting smoking is the best way to protect children from harm.

Parents who smoke around their children put them at risk of asthma. It also often makes the children's lungs develop poorly. According to the study, if a child develops one of those problems, he or she may carry it into adulthood.

If you are a mother or a father, you might just want to quit smoking!
