President says no to $200M parliamentary chamber

According to trusted sources inside the Jubilee House, the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo, is literally against the decision by the leadership  and noble figures in the parliament to build a new chamber for MP's which costs over $200M.

The majority leader of the NPP has been moving from television station to television station trying to convince people on the importance of building a new chamber. According to him, the current chamber poses some security risks and is not well facilitated for certain important purposes.

Most Ghanaians and even non Ghanaians were against the proposal. Some have planned on hitting the streets and heavily demonstrating against it but with the information the credible sources are making available now, it seems that is not going to happen because the president is going clamp the whole project down.
