The Faeces Of This Animal Is The Most Expensive Coffee In The World

What you know is, coffees are from plants right? Well, not all coffees are from plants as you may have thought; some are from animals, I mean the faeces of animals.
Surprisingly, the ones from animals are the most expensive! Can you just believe that?!

An Asian Palm Civet's faeces is called the Civet coffee or Kopi Luwak and is currently the most expensive coffee in the world.
These animals – Asian Palm Civets – eat coffee cherries and these cherries are known to only partially digest. After digestion, they are defecated. The faeces is then packaged and sold as Kopi Luwak.

The price of just a cup of Kopi Luwak  costs about a $100. And a pound bag of the beans costs about $700.
I guess you should try it out, maybe you would understand why it is so expensive.
