The million dollar question is, how can one live longer? Well, a group of researchers led by scientists seem to have the answer: healthy lifestyle. They arrived at such conclusion through a study conducted in 2018 and according to this study, there are five healthy lifestyles that if one adhere to, he or she is guaranteed a long strong healthy life.
These lifestyles are as follows:
1. Eating a diet high in plants and low in fats.
2. Exercising at a moderate to vigorous level for several hours a week.
3. Maintaining a healthy body weight.
4. Not smoking.
5. Consuming no more than one alcoholic drink a day for women and two for men.
The study says: life expectancy of a woman and a man who adopts such healthy lifestyles is extended by 14 years and 12 years respectively.
