It is now the highest-priced Mustang ever sold at any public auction surpassing a previous record of $2.2 million.

Did you know bidding for this car began at just  $3,500. The inheritor of the car, Sean Kiernan, during an interview with Bloomberg, said his late father whom he inherited the car from made him know that the $3,500 became the purchase price of the car since it became the family's car.
