Foods that cause kidney stones

Kidney stones are formed when the majority of foods you consume contains oxalate or phosphorus. There is a certain amount of calcium in the human system which when it comes into contact with phosphorus or oxalate, turns into kidney stone. In some rare cases, uric acid is the cause.

Here are a few foods that causes  kidney stones:
1. Chocolate
2. Beet
3. Rhubarb
4. Spinach
5. Tea
6. Nuts
7. Colas

Note: Taking of Vitamin C supplements can also bring about kidney stones because huge part of the vitamin C in the body is often converted into oxalates and we all know that oxalates, just like phosphorus, reacts with calcium to cause the disease.
