How to lower cholesterol quickly

In the blood of every human, there are these waxy substances known as cholesterol. Cholesterol helps in building important cells in the body but too much of it can result in numerous negative health issues such as strokes and heart attacks.

Ways to lower cholesterol levels:

1. Cut the consumption of foods that are rich in saturated fats and trans-fats. Example, red meat.

2. Eat foods that are known to contain higher levels of omega 3 fatty acids and fiber.

3. Exercise regularly at least five times every week.

4. If you are overweight, make sure you do your possible best to lose weight drastically.

5. Stay away from alcohol.

6. Cut the consumption of salt.

7. Stay away from the consumption of animal products.

8. Avoid smoking.

9. Avoid too much stress.

10. Eat more fruits, vegetables, and wholegrain foods.
