Early Symptoms of Cancer

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases in the world. It could go unnoticed until it reaches the later stages where it becomes really hard to get rid of. That is why it is extremely important to know the early signs and symptoms.

Here are some early symptoms of cancer:

Loss of appetite.
Most of the conditions associated with cancer, alter metabolism. Altered metabolism always results in loss of appetite.
Cancers in the colon, pancreas, stomach and ovary makes you feel full all the time hence makes you not feel the urge to eat.

Blood in stool. 
Blood in a poop can be a result of underlying health problems including hemorrhoids, and ulcers. Cancer can also be the cause. The best way to be sure is to visit your doctor.

Blood in urine. 
Blood in urine means one thing, you have a huge health issue with your urinary tract. It could be a cancer or infection or kidney related problem.

Chronic coughs.
Cough that does not go away could be a clear sign of a lung cancer. Loss of weight, shortness of breath, fatigue, and pain in the chest, are also some of the symptoms people with lung cancer experience.

Feeling exhausted always even after having enough sleep and rest, is a symptom of cancer. Visit your doctor immediately.

Chronic fever.
Cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, and cancers associated with the liver and kidney, are known to bring about fevers that does not go away.
It is always better to visit your doctor if your fever is not showing any signs of going away.

Lump in the neck.
This is a common symptom of cancers related to the throat, larynx, thyroid, and mouth.
Those lumps do not hurt, they often increase in size and do not go away.

Sweat in the night.
Night sweats, a major sign of menopause, is a very common symptom of cancer. You should visit your doctor if you are not in your menopause age but experiencing it.

Changes on the skin.
A sore that does not go away and spots that get bigger are all a few symptoms of a skin cancer.

Swollen lymph nodes. 
Swelling of the lymph nodes is one of the basic symptoms of lymphoma and leakemia.
Swollen lymph nodes under the arms could be as a result of a breast cancer.

Hard to swallow food.
Cancer of the oesophagus can make it hard to swallow food. 
Losing weight so fast without any cause.
Losing weight drastically without any known cause could be a clear symptom of cancer, visit your doctor immediately.

Note: Blood in semen or urine does not necessarily mean you have a cancer, it could be kidney stones, infections,  injuries, or any other urinary tract problem. Also, lump in the breast does not necessarily mean you have a breast cancer, it could be some other disease.
